Laurel from Carol Dresser:
At a time when we stop to remember the tragedy of Sept. 11 and all those who lost their lives, I would like to take this moment to thank those who helped on Sept. 12, when I was involved in a car accident in front of the Lansing Public Library.
I would like to thank all those people who were in attendance at the soccer games and immediately came to help both myself and the other driver, especially a man named Will who waited with me until I could be checked by the paramedics.
I wish to thank the Lansing Fire Department, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Department, Bangs Ambulance and the emergency room department at Cayuga Medical. All your care and kindness did not go unnoticed and it will not be forgotten.
No one wants to be involved in an accident, but I am very grateful that those folks were there to make a scary and difficult time not so trying. Thank you so much!
