VIRGINIA BEACH
Christopher Alan Sell pleaded guilty today to four charges stemming from an October car accident in Pungo that left a  passenger dead.
Sell, 19, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, DUI, underage possession of alcohol and possessing a fictitious license, according to the Virginia Beach Commonwealth Attorneyâs Office.
On the night of Sept. 30, Sell and William L. Keipe and Timothy Watters, drove to the Kellyâs Tavern on General Booth Boulevard and the Diesel Rock 'N' Country Bar on Oceana Boulevard, according to a stipulation of evidence.
Sell presented a fake driverâs license and paid for drinks with his own credit card. He later went to a 7-Eleven store.
After leaving the 7-Eleven, Sell ran off a curve in the 3700 block of West Neck Road and into a ditch.
He then crashed into several trees, tearing the roof off his 2000 Nissan Xterra.
Watters, the front seat passenger, broke his ribs and suffered a collapsed lung in the crash.
Keipe, who was sitting in the rear passenger-side seat, was killed. He was not wearing a seat belt.
A fourth passenger left the scene, according to Macie Pridgen, a spokeswoman with the Virginia Beach Commonwealth Attorney's Office.
Sell suffered minor injuries.
He will be sentenced May 21.
